I spent 10 years as General Counsel of an international franchise brand before pursuing my lifelong passion for interior design. I had a thriving and demanding legal career at a company I loved (and still love), but it never quite filled my cup. For 7 of those 10 years, I quietly took design jobs on the side when I could, and for a while, that was enough for me to feel fulfilled. However, over time, I started to resent the fact that my day job prevented me from doing more of what I really love.
In early 2024, the stars aligned and I found myself in the perfect situation to turn my side hustle into reality. I left the legal field, went back to school for design, and I haven't looked back.
I earned my certificate in Fundamentals of Interior Design from Heritage School of Interior Design in Denver.
My role in the design process is to understand your needs and goals for your home, design a space that is beautiful, functional, and uniquely you, and turn that into documents that your contractor can use to make it happen. I work directly with your contractor, architect, and/or installers from start to finish. As issues arise (and they always do, in construction) I work with your construction team to troubleshoot and re-design as needed.
If your project involves furnishings, we'll spend some time together at showrooms and furniture stores to make sure I understand your tastes and preferences, and then I'll get to work curating unique pieces from a mix of vendors - local custom furniture makers, exclusive to the trade manufacturers, antique and vintage resellers, artists from around the world, and some retail. The end result is a thoughtful mix of pieces that will make your home feel inviting, elevated and intentional.
