This early 1900's home, located in a prime location in Louisville, Colorado oozes charm but completely lacks space. True to its time, this home is petite in every way, so when our clients came to us for help, they were looking to maximize the flow and functionality of their space while highlighting their treasured collection of antiques that they have curated over many decades. 

In the living room, we reupholstered their antique sofa, chair, and ottoman in fresh, modern fabrics from Fabricut that will withstand heavy use by their kids and grandkids. We layered those pieces over our client's existing rich red rug, and added softness by replacing the vinyl blinds with custom relaxed roman shades. We modernized the space with new accessories that still honor our client's traditional style, and incorporated their favorite pieces intentionally and with care. 

In the kitchen, we added storage and counter space, and we turned the extra bedroom into a guest room / office, so they have a place for their kids and grandkids to stay when they visit. We removed the large, oversized chest that they had in the space prior, and replaced it with a trundle bed, corner storage unit, and the client's own antique dresser. We added custom window treatments, a beautiful soft rug, and light, cream bedding to make the space feel open and calm.
